Prognosis: Positive

Many of you have asked how my hair’s been doing after my protein treatment last Friday. Here’s a quick shot of my hair after one wash. I didn’t have to straighten it, comb it, or put any product in it. I literally stepped out of the shower, and let it air dray. This is the most incredible thing that has ever happened to my hair. It was worth every penny.

Frizzless

I can’t believe it’s already the weekend. This week has flown by!

It’s been a crazy week. I’ve been out enjoying the summer and running around. Unfortunately, that didn’t leave much time for blogging. I’m making progress on my closet cleanup, and I’m putting together a post that’s full of tips, with the process I went through to clean it up.

I have really exciting news. I have naturally wavy and frizzy hair that can be difficult to style at times. When I heard about a keratin protein smoothing treatment, I was very excited. I had my appointment on Friday, and it took an incredible three hours to process my hair. It’s now frizz free and stick straight. The real test will be when I’m allowed to wash it again in four days. If it does what it promises, then I won’t have to flat iron, blow dry, style, or worry about my hair at all. I’ll be able to jump out of the shower and have pretty, bounce, frizz-free hair.

I’ll keep you updated on this process. I’ll be back later with a regular post, and I hope you all have had a great week, and are enjoying your Saturday.

My local Anthropologie has completely redesigned the interior of the store, and brought some gorgeous new Fall clothes along with it. When I saw this dress, I squealed out loud. It has birds, deer, cream, brown, and pockets. It’s Fall perfection.

It’s not on their website yet, but it was already selling pretty quickly at my store.

How I spend My Weekend: Home Edition

Everyone knows that I’m a huge fan of Anthro’s clothing, so I wanted to express my love for all things Anthro home.

The first thing I do when I get home is hop into my pjs. The Tapered Imprint Loungers are perfect with the Tenderly Windblown Tank. If I don’t go anywhere that day or weekend, the pjs will stay on all the time.

On Saturday morning I like to sleep in (Mitch gets up really early and hikes with Ben). So I snuggle up in my Anthro quilt and sheets, check on all the blogs I obsessively read, respond to emails/posts for my blog , and, of course, drool over the Anthro website. After that, I read the news and then read a book, still safe and comfy in my bed. Sometimes, I’ll drag myself into the living room (with my quilt) and curl up on the couch and watch TV.

My bedding and pjs make my weekend. I feel so stylish, yet, so lazy :)

My picks for bedding are:

Here’s a classic Anthro look. Everything is from past seasons except the Vappu Dress.

In a bit of randomness, here’s a shot of my nicely made-up bed, which is hardly ever made-up. It’s all Anthropologie, except the buffalo. That’s my Build-a-Bear buffalo called Randy, that my partner in crime got me.
